Sheet adjustment - SAILSetc spar. Use to attach the end of a sheet to a SAILSetc spar section boom.
Comprises a boom track slide ref 082 plus a specially shaped hook that a loop on the end of the sheet can be attached to.
Lock the sheet attachment where it gives the correct sheeting angle and you can guarantee that you will get exactly the same sheeting position next time you rig the boat. If you want to adjust the boom angle you can adjust the sheet attachment position by the smallest amount by slackening the socket screw and re-tightening.
The advantages over the zed hook, item 87z, are: no holes required in boom, point of corrosion avoided, repeatable positioning without recording the hole used, infinitely variable.
