Headsail boom swivel - 6 mm. Ball raced headsail boom swivel for use with a 8 mm dia boom. Bend the wire to form a suitable hook. Spare wire provided.
For use on US1M, ODOM, 36R, 36/600 and similar sized boats.
The design of the fitting means no holes are required in the boom at the point of greatest load thus minimising the chance of failure. Adjustment to the position of the part is easy to achieve because the part has a spring grip on the boom. Additional security can be provided by adding a spot of cyanoacrylate glue or a wrap of tape each side of the part.
