Description

Lock for boom band with pin - 10 mm
Use this item as a safety lock for the boom band with pin. When the pin has engaged with the 046B ring this lock should be slid over the pin to prevent the boom from being knocked out of the ring.
This is most likely to happen when sailing with sheets eased on the start line when another boat overlaps too fast and too close to leeward. Their error of course but it may cause you to lose your headsail and lead to a redress claim. Another precaution is to place an 'O' ring immediately behind the lock to make it even more difficult to dislodge.
