Similar to the mainsail boom forward end fitting used on SAILSetc IOM ball raced goosenecks for many years, this revised version drops the main boom by 5 mm or so relative to the mast. Fits the SAILSetc boom section

Description
Main boom forward end - SAILSetc spar. Revised design that drops the boom by 5 mm. For use with the SAILSetc spar section and a ball raced gooseneck/kicking strap.
The fitting is a press fit into the boom end and needs no fastening. There is a fore and aft hole through the fitting to pass the tack/Cunningham line.
